About

My name is Belinda and I am a sewing fanatic! ;)

Currently, I live in Virginia with my husband and several sewing machines.  Those sewing machines keep me busy on a daily basis.  :D   We are empty nesters, but hope to move closer to our grandchildren in the near future. They live across the country from us and that’s just too far! :(

I have recently put up a website geared toward teaching beginning sewers.  Several years ago, I taught private beginning sewing lessons to adults, but unfortunately, I had to stop teaching when my elderly parents needed care.  I have tried to “teach” online in a similar way that I taught in my home.  Of course, that’s easier said than done, but if you’d like to see for yourself, please visit www.sewseamless.com

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me at the adress below.  If I can’t answer your questions, I’ll try to find another resource for you so your sewing questions can be answered.

Happy Sewing!

Belinda

    Belinda,

I was just thinking on my walk that you need to have a page devoted to answering reader’s questions. You might have to give it a really eye-catching name like, Ask Belinda, the Sewing Goddess ;)

Hi Belinda. Just read that you live in Virginia, where I happen to be from (and where my parents still live). They are always asking me to move back, but I am definitely a west coast girl at heart.

    Hi, Emily!

Yes, I live in northern Virginia, but I’ve only been here about a year and a half. It’s pretty here, but much too cold during the winter! I’m a Southern gal at heart and would love to move back to my home state of Arkansas, but my grandbabies don’t live there, so….I hope to move closer to them someday.
