Creative Friends and Special People

1:35 pm random thoughts on life, sewing

I would like to thank Michelle and Judah for helping me get the message out about Odyssey Healthcare (www.odsyhealth.com ) in their blog posts yesterday.  They are both good friends of mine and very special people. :D

Michelle is a quilter, but she also beads, and makes her own soaps and lip balms, which are wonderful.  Her blog is Sleepy Cat Hollow (www.sleepycathollow.wordpress.com ) and her main website  where she sells some of her wonderful creations can be found at www.sleepycathollow.com

My friend Judah is a quilter, but also makes some beautiful beaded creations, and enjoys knitting as well.  Judah has a blog that is primarily a Christian blog.  She is a wonderful lady who often has words of wisdom for me, and she definitely can make me think! ;) Her blog, Judah’s Journal,  is found here: http://www.visiblesoul.org/judah/blog/

A couple of other creative friends of mine are Donna and Sue.  Donna recently started blogging and is finding that she is enjoying every minute of it. :)   She makes beautiful beaded jewelry!  This month, however, she is going to be doing some real sewing–with fabric! :D  Those beads may be neglected once she gets hooked on sewing on the sewing machine. ;)  Donna’s blog is www.thisyearsdozen.wordpress.com

Sue is another creative friend of mine.  She makes all kinds of wonderful altered art.  Sue uses all types of things to make her wonderful creations.  She also paints and and sews as well.  Her creations always amaze me! :D   Sue’s blog is www.perpetualplum.wordpress.com

I am very blessed to have these friends in my life. :D   I have many other friends as well, but if I listed them all, this would be an eternal post. ;)

We will soon be returning to our regularly scheduled posts about sewing.  I am still working on the yellow sundress and have some progress to share with you.  Of course, these days, just finding time to sew seems to be getting more difficult.  Hmmmm……methinks I’m going to have to work on my time management skills a little bit. ;)

Happy Sewing!
